Currently being remated to Milagro, you could not have much more fun than that bundled up in this lovely alpaca. Soy (IAR: 41962), born May 2002, is as mad as a hatter, and as happy as an alpaca can be. She will spot you from a mile off, call the rest of the herd together, and charge to the gate in anticipation of some nuts. Don't believe us?... well come and see!
Frankly the fleece statistics are not much to behold but the lustre is good and spinners love the deeply black-tinged fibre Soy ... allows us to shear! And her young male cria - solid white from dad Otto's breeding, has very similar charateristics ... i.e. madness ... and mad ears!
Fleece for Soy in September 2004: 36.3 micron, SD 7.4, CF ... horrible! Hopefully the price reflects that but a black fleece, except for white nose and toes!
Pregnant to Milagro, our black stud male, Soy will be due in March 2006 ... she can't wait!
