Vereker's CLAIRE and male cria

Claire is currently in Blenheim area for inspection! Claire (IAR: 58181) is a solid blue-black female born January 2001 and comes with a solid black male cria born recently (March 2008) by Ben Elvis. Her previous cria have either been black (three) or one roan-grey. An alpaca with alpaca attitude she likes to be noticed in the paddock and closely bonds with her cria. Easliy mated she does have a track record of keeping her cria in line and well-trained to stay possessively close to her! She will shortly be remated to Ben Elvis.

The other strange thing about Claire is her ability to grow ear fibre ... no that's not a typo-error ... ear hair! She may even be the national ear-hair champion of New Zealand ... and maybe the world? Picture bottom is during mating to Ben Elvis with last cria Shah-Khor sitting, patiently, beside mum. Note the black lustrous fleece on cria.
